What is Quality Inspection?

Product inspection plays a vital role in helping you to identify and address any quality defects in your products before being shipped to your customers. Similarly, quality inspections also help with cost reductions. For example, there are fewer rejected and higher warranty returns.

Four Types of Inspection

Pre-Production Inspection (PPI)

Pre-Production inspections (PPI) are carried out prior to production commencement. All components and materials used for production are thoroughly checked.

During Production Inspection (DUPRO)

Inspections are carried out at points that range from 10% output to 50% output completed. This will significantly reduce production delays caused by errors or quality defects being noted.

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

This is done after production has completed and 80% of all goods have been packed. This is to ensure that all goods have been loaded and packed before shipment is authorized.

Container Loading Check (CLC)

Before containers are closed and sealed, a final check is made to ensure that all products have been accounted for according to your requirements
